New Years Eve..

Hello there! As I sit here waiting for my hubby, we're suppose to play Mario Bro's on the Wii (Christmas gift), I logged on to my Blogger account. I havent been on for a while now. I cant believe its NEW YEARS EVE already! Jeez, how time flies! Im on my new laptop (another Christmas gift from Santa ;) "Joe") and Im still getting used to all the new features- I am loving it. This year has gone by so fast! 2012 is 24 hours away.. I cant believe it. Its nice having a blog to go back and re-read my post in the past. I hope now that I have my own brand new laptop I'll be updating more, but from what Ive read, I have a habit of just SAYING that! We'll see. Josie Maran 100% Argan Oil

OMGoshh! So, I finally got my JM Argan Oil today!!! So excited! I couldn't wait to use it so after showering I used it as a moisturizer underneath my makeup. I noticed that I didn't get as oily as I usually get. I dont knowif it was the oil or just a coincidence. I think it was the oil ;) I was originally going to use it as a night serum, but I think I will put a few drops in my SPF daily moisturizer, or even just use the oil by itself, in the morning as well.



I've read great things about this Moracan oil. If you haven't heard about it, which I doubt.. google it. No, seriously, google it! Haha. ;D Anywho, I will be using it all this week and I'll update you guys on how its working for me at the end of the week! :)

Blahhh.. Update.

So.. I still havent made any videos!! How lame! I had all these cute ideas for videos.. and I havent got a chance to record them. Uhhggh! I get so mad at myself. Im still trying to move stuff around in my new apartment.. I've been here for less than 2months.. so dont judge! Haha! I really want to start making videos, and now I sound like a tape recorder.. blah blah blah..! Im trying to find a good spot in my room and a good organized set up! I think I need to take a little trip to good ol' Ikea and get me some nice little stuff! Anyways.. I hadnt blogged in a while.. so I decided to do a quick lil' update. Ohh, yeah.. Im having my family over for a little housewarming party this Saturday- the 2nd! Goodness, I cant believe its almost April already! My, how time flys!?! Anywho, Im excited for Saturday.. hopefully I'll have some good pictures to post!

Getting Settled In & YT Videos

So, Im finally in my new apartment. The past week has been pretty hectic.
A lot of unpacking and giving away re-usable boxes (recycle, people!)! Joe and I are trying to get settled in, in our new place. We are both very excited to be living on our own again. Its wonderful! (BTW: I burned an oven pizza the second night here.. WTH?! Yes, I know) Even though we are still having people come in and clean the apartment, we are doing our best to get all of our stuff organized! We are in the process of getting a small entertainment center for our living room, as well as a new couch, because our other one is too big! O_o Presidents day is coming up so I know there will be sales! Yay :) We saw one online that we like, God willing, we'll be able to get it this Saturday! Oh btw, I lost my phone! So sad! I want to get a new one, but right now, I just want to decorate my living space! So excited! Im using Joe's old Blackberry, it will do for now, but its sloooooow. We'll see, I'll probably end up just getting another one! ;) Ohhh yeah, on a better note, my pup Maxx is finally coming to live with us. He will be getting groomed this Friday, then heading to our new apartment. Im excited and scared at the same time. He is a pretty big pup (husky/lab mix). I pray to God everything turns out okay!

On to the youtube vids, okay, okay, I know I said I was going to start doing youtube videos in January of 2011, and that was really my plan. With First Colony Lush closing, me transferring to another location, signing paperwork for our new apartment, and Joe's birthday everything came at once and I really didnt have a chance to make a video. I know that sounds ridiculous, but to my defense Im barely starting so I dont know how to squeeze in the "making of a video" at least not yet. I really want to though. So I was planning on making a Valentines video but (sounds like an excuse, but its not- hehe) Joe took my bloggie! I know! WTH?! Grr.. babe!!!!! He records our church services for our good friend Tony sometimes, so he left my bloggie in the car, and with all the apartment unpacking and what not, I just didnt have a chance. I just got internet connected like, yesterday, literally. I will be looking at other youtube gurus/users to see how they have their little set up and see if I can get some ideas! Any suggestions?!!!!

Ohh btw, my Valentines day was great. My baby, Joe, bought me the prettiest bouquet of roses and a very sweet card. My mom and motherINlaw gave me a bunch of goodies, chocolate and cookies- bad idea, I've been eating suuuuper bad! I need to get back on track! ;) Until next time world!

Moving Day!

Yay! Finally, moving day is here!!! So, we were originally going to move out on the 5th and we were more than ready. It turns out that our apartment wasn't ready for us! FAIL! Apparently, the contractors couldn't make it out to do the final cleaning on the apartment due to the weather [we had icy roads in Houston!] So we were really bummed, buuuuuuut we are able to move in today! Im super excited about it.. so im packing up the last minute things today! Whoop Whoop! :)

LUSH @ First Colony Mall...

...Im sad to say that Lush in Macys (First Colony) is closing on Sunday, the 23rd.

So, all you Lushies around that area.. STOCK UP!

Dont worry. There is still some shops that you all can shop at- LUSH in MACYS @ MEMORIAL CITY MALL; for example! Of course, you can always shop online at lushusa.com or lushuk.com ;) I will soon make a video on my fave products from Lush.. hopefully.

I will miss the Lush in First Colony and all the staff there.

Sunday, January 23rd will be the last day of business.

All products will be transfered to other shops. We will NOT be having a "close out sale".

Signing Our Apartment Contract Today!

Im so excited. Im waiting for my hubby, so we can go sign the contract for our new apartment.

I cant believe we're finally moving out, even though we've lived on our own before, its just seems as exciting! We start moving February 5th! I want to make a video on small home decorating once I get settled in. One of my passions is interior design so I know Im going to have tons of fun. I also need to make a little space for my video-making in my new place! I know I havent made ANY videos, I've just been suuuuuper busy. Im transferring Lush locations, so Im working at both locations right now, so I havent really had time. If anyone has "small-space decorating tips" just message me! :)

I GOT A CAR!!!!!

I finally got my car! Literally, like today. I am sooo excited to have a car! Yay :) I got a 2006 Mercury Milan white/tan leather interior- so cute! I feel so mature in it. I think I need to personalize it so I can feel more comfortable. Im used to driving my hubby's G35 so this car feels so big and wide! Haha. I just need to make it... me. Soo, yeah- I have my own car!!!!! Also, we're moving out! Finally, on our own, again. Im kind of scared but I just think that its because we havent paid rent in so long. My in laws have been super nice to let us stay in there house for all this time so we can pay some stuff off. Of course, we already did the rent thing, so we wanted a house.. but its not our time- I guess. Plus, I feel like renting is good for us, even though its our second time renting but we need to get in the habit of paying not only our day to day bills but rent and utilities. Its Gods will- if he puts us through it, he'll PULL us through.
